About Us...
In 2014, Rebekah and Jessi realized that homeschooling alone was not ideal. They knew that to go forward with this homeschooling thing, a community was needed. They looked around and didn't find a co-op that met their needs. So...they decided to start their own. Over the years, co-op has looked very different. They started meeting in Jessi's little house teaching one subject with babies and preschoolers. As the children grew older, co-op grew as well. They began adding classes until the group grew to the point they are at now. Living Stones now offers all grade levels and several class options for each. Their goal is to create classes that prepare younger students for high school, and high school classes that count towards credits on their transcripts.
Jessi
Jessi has been married for 21 years. She has 4 children and has been homeschooling for 16 years. Last school year she graduated her first of the four children. She has organized several co-ops over the years and enjoys homeschooling with other moms. She has a background in teaching in public school and enjoys teaching History and Bible. Her biggest desire is to see her children live out their calling in a God-honoring way.
Rebekah
Rebekah has been married 23 years. She is the mom of 3 children and has been homeschooling for 15 years. She just recently graduated her first student. Rebekah works part time as a nurse and enjoys teaching science classes and learning right along with her students. Her biggest desire is for her children and those around her to love the Lord with all their heart, mind, and soul.
